Emma Ekwonna Youth Empowerment Foundation (EEYEF) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, humanitarian and philanthropic organization set up for the empowerment of women, youths and disabled persons.
EEYEF’s mission is to identify the women, youths and disabled persons and empower them to be productive, positively focused and determined to succeed.
To achieve this objective, EEYEF has designed some community development programs and projects that will help to equipwomen, youths and disabled persons with knowledge gained through formal or informal education, technical and technological (computer) skills, enterpreneural and social skills.
EEYEF projects assists women, youths and disabled persons to re-channel their abilities and zeal into activities that can generate positive development in themselves, their families, the communities, and the society at large.
EEYEF encouragement ensures universal exchange of ideas, tourism and friendship through the organization’s programs if funded.
EMPOWERMENT OF YOUTH PARENTS
This is one of EEYEF’s programmes for the empowerment of youth parents. Youth Parents are youth who are parents but without any source of income. This situation brings to their homes chaos and their wives tend to prostitute which causes domestic violence and the spread of HIV/AIDS.
The provision of tricycles to the youth parents on hire purchase bases have yielded a positive result because the beneficiaries are giving testimonies.
We went into this very expensive and strategic approach to see to the need of these youth parents who are not put into consideration by the government of any nation or even the international communities. We fail to realize that if these youth parents are not taken care of, they will try to involve in crimes and will produce vulnerable children.
For the male youth parents, their wives will involve in moral crimes like prostitution which will promote the spread of HIV/AIDS and increase domestic violence.
We solicit for your support to help actualize this humanitarian move. BE A WORLD CHANGER
